Frequently Asked Questions

SynPhNe is an abbreviation of Synergistic Physio-Neuro platform. It is a path breaking brain-muscle relaxation focused method and a revolutionary wearable device which can help people recover from disability caused due to Stroke, Cerebral Palsy and other Neuromuscular Disorders.

SynPhNe is a non-invasive, connected health solution that helps train brain and body as ONE system.

It captures the brain and muscle signals to highlight a person's unconscious responses which may be hampering recovery or improvement. These are then "self-corrected" using the SynPhNe dynamic relaxation protocol.

Easy. Set. Go!

One should use it to improve relaxation in brain and body, use it to prepare for key events or challenges, use it to get your independence back!

People from age 7 years to age 85 years who have brain and muscle challenges have benefited from using SynPhNe. Those who wish to improve or get their independence back after stroke, injury or ageing will benefit the most.

What is Stroke?

Stroke is a condition that occurs when a blood vessel in the brain bursts or more commonly when a blockage develops. Blood supply and oxygen to the brain stops and the brain cells begin to die.

What are the signs and symptoms of Stroke?

  • Sudden numbness or weakness of the body, especially on one side.
  • Sudden vision changes in one or both eyes, or difficulty swallowing.
  • Sudden, severe headache with unknown cause.
  • Sudden problems with dizziness, walking or balance.
  • Sudden confusion, difficulty speaking or understanding others.

Stroke Test: Talk, Wave, Smile

The F.A.S.T. test helps spot symptoms of stroke. It stands for:

Face: Ask for a smile. Does one side droop?

Arms: When raised, does one side drift down?

Speech: Can the person repeat a simple sentence? Does he or she have trouble or slur words?

Time: Time is critical. Get to the nearest hospital immediately if any of the above answers are YES

TYPES OF STROKE:

Ischemic Stroke: The most common type of stroke is known as an ischemic stroke. Nearly 9 out of 10 Stroke occurences fall into this category. The culprit is a blood clot that obstructs a blood vessel inside the brain. The clot may develop on the spot or travel through the blood from else where in the body.

Hemorrhagic Stroke: Hemorrhagic strokes are less common. They occur when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. The result is bleeding inside the brain which can be fatal.

Transient Ischemic Attack (also known as TIA): This is a mini stroke that usually does not cause damage but it also serves as a warning sign that a major stroke may happen in the future.

The device weighs only 0.7 kg all together and comes with medical grade lining and padding, which ensures both comfort and hygiene. Many people who used SynPhNe reported that they had reduced pain and discomfort compared to when they started.

The exercises are designed for safety and are relaxation focused with relatively low impact and intensity. The device is completely non-invasive with no electrical signals being supplied either to the muscle or brain. The device only reads the electrical activity in the body from the surface of the skin.

The training software can be used with a PC, Laptop and be projected on the TV.

The device can be bought from any of our SynPhNe centers.

The device will initially be available in Singapore and India. If you buy in these countries and carry it to your own country, we will support you online through our online therapy personalization and training service.

Future availability in other countries will be notified on our website as we launch the service at these places. People from other countries may, of course, subscribe for the workshops, health programs, apps and online resources at any time.

Each system comes with its own user log in and password after registration. Only multi-user systems can be shared after prior approval and registration of an additional user.
